Le Nokia Lumia 530 In Expansys, Materiel.net or LDLC

The Nokia Lumia 635 takes the concept of 630. That of an economic alternative to Windows Phone 8.1 equivalent Android smartphone. Little more in its favor: support for 4G networks.
Note: the grade of 3.75 / 5, but after a problem with a half display does not display correctly. We are currently working to resolve this bug.

Its affordability and its interchangeable plastic shells colorful had earned a good rating Lumia 630. But he was penalized by its single 3G connection. His twin brother, the Lumia 635 is identical in all respects to 630 or so. He loses the SIM dual slot but he wins the 4G compatibility. Its hardware configuration is the same: Screen 4.5 inch 854 x 480 pixels, quadruple heart 1.2GHz SoC, 5 megapixel camera and Windows Phone 8.1.
Design and Display
Like all Lumia phones, the 635 is dressed in a plastic shell in color. We find a design with rounded edges curl coming on the screen, much like the iPhone 5c. The shells are interchangeable and available in green, yellow, orange or black. The quality of the plastic is sturdy enough to support a few knocks and bumps while glass reinforced Gorilla 3 protects the scratches from keys in your pocket screen. The Lumia 635 has 8 GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a micro SD memory card types.
The screen 4.5-inch diagonal displays uen definition of 854 x 480 pixels, which is less than the definition of the Moto G. The images and texts are also not as clear, but it is more than enough to send tweets or Facebook posts. The screen is quite bright and has good color rendering. But if you want to watch movies, better opt for a model with better definition.
The Lumia 635 rotates with the latest update Windows Phone 8.1 with its colorful dynamic tiles scattered on a home screen to scroll vertically. Windows Phone is a good platform for new smartphone users, easy to learn and fun to use. Its only flaw is the relative poverty of its application store (poverty less current with 300,000 applications reached threshold). There is of course the big names (Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, Skype, Twitter ...) but the new usually arrive after their release on Android and iOS. A reality that will be less and less true if Windows Phone is more important. If you're a gamer and latest applications, Windows Phone is still for you.
Performance and autonomy
The Lumia 635 is equipped with the same battery 1830 mAh as 630. But his greediest 4G connection strike energy independence. During our test, the battery level from 100% to 36% after only three hours when playing a streaming video in full screen, which is pretty disappointing. By comparison, that of Lumia 630 had fallen to 73% after two hours of video loop and 32% after five hours. 4G connection is his due. Noted nonetheless that our test is very demanding and the screen was set to maximum brightness continuously. By playing on this setting and adopting some saving practices (off GPS, WiFi ...), it is possible to take a full day.
The Lumia 635 smartphone is equipped with a system on a chip (SoC) 1.2GHz quad heart, still the same as the L630. He was just as responsive on the 635, giving it a smooth navigation and a quick start the camera. It even supports some games. Microsoft / Nokia pre-installed several of its applications including home Here Drive for GPS navigation assisted Here Transit for transportation and music listening service MixRadio streaming.
The camera
The 5 megapixel sensor proved correct. As on most entry-level smartphones, it mismanaging low light and automatic white balance is sometimes ineffective, but you can manually intervene in these settings. This is not a motive for photography enthusiasts, but more than enough for Instagram shots, Facebook and other networks.
The Nokia Lumia 635 does not have the luxury design of a top model or a screen or a prime photo sensor. But it is very affordable and attractive, making it a good choice if you are looking for a 4G model cheap. If applications are important to you, turn to the Moto G is now also available in 4G. It is available at about the same price, but the screen is better and you'll have access to a range of applications provided much more than Windows Phone 8.1.
